The Belgian international, 26, has struggled for game time under Frank Lampard this season, playing just 117 minutes of Premier League football all season.

Aston Villa were the latest team to be linked with the forward, after Wesley suffered a season-ending injury during their win over Burnley.

Sky Sports report that Batshuayi wants to stay at Chelsea and ‘fight for his place under boss Frank Lampard’.

Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud have been victims of the stellar form of Tammy Abraham for the Blues this season.

The England international has scored 12 goals and registered three assists in his 20 Premier League appearances so far this term, helping Chelsea sit in the top four heading into 2020.

Batshuayi has previously spent loan spells away from the Bridge, featuring for both Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace in previous seasons.
