One transfer rumour currently has some Chelsea fans talking. According to Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones, Olivier Giroud is on Tottenham’s radar as they look to address their Harry Kane-shaped problem.
The north London club, of course, are without their talisman following the hamstring injury he picked up at the start of the year and are in need of a striker before the transfer window closes. Chelsea, though, would have to be pretty foolish to sell the Frenchman to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Both teams are competing for a Champions League spot, so strengthening their rivals could be a dangerous move. Ultimately, from Chelsea’s perspective, it is a deal that would make very little sense.
