Chelsea fell to a third Premier League defeat in four this afternoon as they were beaten 3-1 by managerless Everton at Goodison Park.
Centre-back Andreas Christensen ended up being the target of many Blues fans’ ire after the game and he was beaten with ease by Richarlison in the air when the Brazilian opened the scoring in the first five minutes (as per Sky Sports).
The Denmark international actually won eight headers against the Toffees despite that early lapse, the joint-most in Frank Lampard’s team along with centre-back partner Kurt Zouma. [via WhoScored]
However, Christensen did not win a single tackle against a team who began the day in the Premier League relegation zone, while his WhoScored match rating of 6.57 was the fourth lowest among Chelsea’s starting line-up.
Here is what some Chelsea fans had to say on Christensen’s performance at Goodison Park:
Andreas Christensen is not fit to play for Chelsea Football Club #CFC

I like Andreas Christensen, but here’s what baffles me…
He seems to always be on the ground the most of any Chelsea player, but he also might be the least physical player in the team.
Even Pulisic, Mount & Willian get more physical than him. Not joking.

Aerial marking isn't Christensen's thing. We have conceded this goal twice in two straight games.

Did you think Christensen was one of Chelsea’s worst players in the defeat at Everton? Should he be dropped after that display? Join in the discussion by commenting below!
