Chelsea fans rush to Higuain’s defence amid the “brush-up” with David Luiz in training

Chelsea have now completed their last training session before the big Europa League clash against Arsenal. The winner takes it all and it’s safe to say that tension has slowly been on the rise as the big final approaches rapidly. An interesting scene occurred in the Blues’ camp in Baku as David Luiz seemed to elbow Gonzalo Higuain in the face in a challenge that was quickly deemed too harsh and uncalled for by the fans on Twitter.

While it does seem like it could’ve just been an accident altogether, tempers did flare afterwards as Higuain demanded an explanation from his teammate. The fans are also on the Argentine’s side and were quick to call out Luiz for this unnecessary behaviour, especially ahead of such a huge event for the team.

Although the players have not gone too far with the commotion and everything was settled in a quick manner, there’s no escaping the feeling that the players themselves are a bit edgy and definitely nervous. But hey, who wouldn’t be in the wake of a European final.

Luiz is really not in his right senses. How could you do this when the team needs everyone in their right frame of mind? I hope this has been resolved. Fine his two weeks wages @ChelseaFC
