Chelsea fans were left saddened after reports from the Independent about Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
According to the British publication, the player’s agent Federico Pastorello has been in talks with Chelsea director of football Marina Granovskaia.
Zaha failed to secure a move away from Selhurst Park last summer despite interest from both Arsenal and Everton.
He has only recently started to pick up some form in the Premier League after a slow start to the season, scoring two goals in his last three games (via Transfermarkt).
A move away from the club in the near future seems to be on the cards, with manager Roy Hodgson claiming that it’s not easy to keep a hold of players ‘when you’re Crystal Palace’ (via Sky Sports).
Chelsea have flourished in attack this season, scoring 30 goals in the top flight, the fourth-most of any team in the league (via Premier League).
However, fans weren’t happy after they were linked with a move for Zaha as they took to Twitter to react.
