Hakim Ziyech has been snapped training alongside his new Chelsea teammates, but many fans were instead noticing an error from Tammy Abraham in a clip shared on social media.
The England international has been relied on heavily by Frank Lampard this season and has repaid the faith in dividends. Abraham boasts 14 goals in the Premier League this season after enjoying a strong run of form prior to the break (via Transfermarkt). However, following his recent injury and since the restart, Olivier Giroud has been mainly selected as Lampard’s first choice centre-forward.

The 42-year-old is looking to strengthen his team ahead of next season and has already welcomed Ziyech and Germany international Timo Werner to Stamford Bridge. With Giroud penning a new deal as well, Abraham must impress the boss and battle for a place in the starting lineup.
Chelsea have posted a clip on Instagram of Ziyech in training, but many fans have hijacked it and used the comments section to slam Abraham’s first touch after receiving the Moroccan’s pass.

Although he has suffered a dip in form since the Premier League returned, the 22-year-old has still been one of Chelsea’s best players this season. The £36m-valued striker has netted 16 goals and contributed six assists across all competitions so far in 2019/20 (via Transfermarkt).

With four fixtures left for Chelsea to play (maybe more), there’s still time for Abraham to end his season on a high, as the Blues now turn their attention to taking on Manchester United in the FA Cup tomorrow evening.
