Chelsea: Fans slam Willian after David Luiz ‘nutmeg’ comments

Chelsea fans have been slamming Willian after the winger made some comments about his Brazilian compatriot David Luiz.

The 31-year-old talked about the numerous times he’s faced Luiz and how he’s known him since the age of eight, calling him his ‘brother’. However, he went on to say if he had to, he would nutmeg the 32-year-old centre-back when the Blues face Arsenal (Globo Esporte via The Metro).

Chelsea face the Gunners in the Premier League three days after boxing day at the Emirates Stadium, with Luiz coming up against his former side for the first time since leaving to join Unai Emery’s side for £8m (via BBC).

The contrast in form couldn’t be starker with Arsenal languishing in eighth, meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s side sit in fourth place six points clear of fifth-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Fans weren’t pleased with Willian’s comments as they took to Twitter to slam the attacker’s ability.
