Chelsea continued their tough run under Frank Lampard yesterday when the Blues were held 1-1 against Leicester City in their first game of the Lampard-era at Stamford Bridge, although the fans obviously believed it could have been different had their new manager opted for some different in-game changes.
A double change for the Blues on 70 mins.

The Blues, as you will see from the tweets included, were not at all happy to see that whilst Christian Pulisic was brought off against Leicester, Pedro was allowed to stay on the pitch. This was a move from Lampard that really didn’t go down too well.
We all saw what Pulisic can do when the young American featured against Liverpool in the European Super Cup in midweek, looking lively and having a tidy goal ruled out for offside as he earned a 7/10 rating from The Express. Unfortunately, though it was Pulisic who was hooked, as Pedro played the full 90 minutes.
You can read the Blues’ verdict on Lampard’s sub here:
Should’ve taken Pedro off. Silly change

Why pulisic and not Pedro ?

Pedro looks shattered. Think it would have been wise to take him off, but hopefully something happens and we can get the win.

Why removing pulisic instead of Pedro… This is a bad sub

How is Pedro still on the pitch

Pedro was supposed to be out…. Lampard

Mistake not taking off Pedro instead of Pulisic! Pedro is wiped and making many mistakes.

Chelsea fans, as you can see, were far from happy to see Pulisic hooked and in future would much prefer to see Pedro the one taken off.
