Chelsea fans have been tearing into Kepa Arrizabalaga after reports over concerns from manager Frank Lampard.
According to the Daily Mail, the Englishman is looking to bring in Shay Given as a goalkeeping coach as he’s getting worried about the Spain international’s form.
Lampard wanted Given to join him at Stamford Bridge in the summer, however, the move to bring him in was thwarted by the Chelsea board, who wanted to promote Henrique Hilario.
The statistics paint a worrying picture about the 25-year-old’s performances this season as he sits bottom of the list of ‘keepers for the number of saves made this season. (via Premier League).
This is despite Chelseas conceding 17 goals from the opening 12 Premier League games, showing the defence hasn’t exactly been watertight in stopping shots.
Fans were blasting their number one ‘keeper for his recent form for the club as they took to Twitter to react.
