Several Chelsea fans have expressed their disappointment over the club’s reported interest in CSKA Moscow striker Fyodor Chalov.
According to the Daily Express, the Blues are plotting a £20m move for the 21-year-old after Frank Lampard told his superiors that signing a new centre-forward needs to be a priority this month.

Chalov was in fine form last season, scoring 15 goals and setting up another seven in the Russian Premier League. Meanwhile, this term, he has managed five and four respectively.
In recent days, Chelsea have also been linked with Lyon’s Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner of RB Leipzig, suggesting that the west London outfit are indeed in the market for a new No.9.
Reports suggest that both Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi could leave Stamford Bridge this transfer window, explaining why the Blues are looking at Chalov.
As far as replacements go, though, the Russia international does not seem to be first choice for these Chelsea fans:
