Chelsea: Roman Abramovich signs off on mega £150m minimum splurge - Chelsea Transfer Rumours

Chelsea look set to take the crown for the most successful summer transfer window this year.

The recent news surrounding their lavish spending has revealed that Roman Abramovich has given the green light for the club to pursue three more mega money deals.

According to Football Insider, Frank Lampard is about to get exactly what he wants as he closes in on signing a trio of heavily-linked transfer targets.

The players in question are Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Ben Chilwell, who could be the personnel needed to transform this Chelsea side into Premier League champions.

Football Insider have reported that Abramovich has agreed to spend a minimum of £50million per signing, which would see the club spend a mammoth sum of money this window. They have already splashed a hefty £78.3million on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner combined but it doesn’t look like they plan on slowing down their shopping any time soon.

Gerrard made more appearances for Liverpool than Lampard did for Chelsea, true or false?

However, Chelsea have acknowledged the importance of offloading some of their current players in order to balance the books. The likes of Emerson Palmieri look to be headed out the door before the new season starts.

Having already signed Ziyech and Werner, the arrival of Kai Havertz could be Chelsea’s final attacking recruit of the summer. With a trio of new forwards plus the likes of Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham, Lampard is well-stocked up front.

The Stamford Bridge icon now wants to ensure he has a strong defence to mirror his dangerous attack. Chilwell and Rice have emerged as priority targets, with Lampard seemingly unhappy with the majority of his current backline.

With the financial and moral support from Abramovich, the Blues boss must feel like he can conquer the league next campaign, equipped with some of the world’s finest players.
