Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are given news they were expecting after the London Evening Standard revealed that Fiorentina want to bring Mohammed Salah in on a permanent deal.
The Italian side have decided to release a clause in Salah’s loan deal which will extend his stay temporarily, before signing him on a permanent basis.
Salah has resurrected his career since moving to Serie A as he has scored seven goals, and since picked up interest from title challengers Roma and Juventus.
Fiorentina have the first option to sign him on loan next season for a fee of £1.5m.
But they intend to buy the Egyptian for a deal in the region of £9.5m in 2016.
There seems to be no room for Salah back at Stamford Bridge because before Jose Mourinho signed Juan Cuadrado, Salah was still struggling to get game time!
