Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are left scratching their heads in confusion after talkSPORT revealed that their outcast Marko Marin will be returning to the club again as Anderlecht are set to reject the opportunity to sign him permanently.
The playmaker joined the Blues back in 2013 and punters had high hopes for him.
But after getting caught up in their loan system he has failed to make his mark in the Premier League.
Last season he was loaned out to Sevilla and made 18 appearances in La Liga but, like Anderlecht, they turned down the opportunity to extend his stay.
He didn’t have much luck earlier on this season, when Fiorentina cancelled his contract in January after 12 appearances as an unused sub.
The future is looking very bleak for the 26-year-old German as he looks to revive his career at another big club in Europe, and Blues fans inside the Transfer Tavern admit he is simply not good enough for Chelsea!
