However, what the Blues fans are happier about is that they will be travelling to Wembley to play Spurs on Sunday and the last time these two teams met at this ground saw Antonio Conte’s men come away with a 4-2 victory, which was inspired by a Willian double.

Willian will be vital again this weekend especially with the injuries to Eden Hazard and Pedro and paired with the aforementioned suspensions of Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas, our landlord has outlined that Conte really does have decisions to make.

After his Chelsea debut was cruelly cut short by Antonio Conte last weekend following Gary Cahill’s red card, our landlord believes Jeremie Boga should get another bite of the cherry against Spurs on Sunday.

The Chelsea fans in the Tavern agree and with Eden Hazard and Pedro looking doubtful due to injury, they will be looking to the creative mind of Boga to really provide a cutting edge that they lacked for much of the first game of the Premier League last weekend.

Alvaro Morata

Scorer against Burnley when he came off the bench, the Chelsea fans in the Tavern feel that now is the time for Conte to fully unleash Morata on the Premier League.

Reportedly, Spurs were in for Morata a year ago but the Spaniard decided to join Real Madrid after conceding that he would not be able to oust Harry Kane as the main man in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

It has now all worked out in Chelsea’s favour and the Blues may well benefit by giving a chance to a player who wants to prove something this Sunday.
