Conte revolution to reportedly continue with £33.1m playmaker transfer

Chelsea fans are an excitable bunch right now, so Ajansspor’s report that Hakan Calhanoglu is a €38m (£33.1m) summer transfer target has got one Blue over by the pool table doing a little celebratory dance.

The Blues are well on course to reclaim their Premier League crown and book a spot back in the Champions League, so, despite the depth of their squad, the Londoners are likely to delve into the transfer market for additions.

And Ajansspor are claiming that Calhanoglu is on their radar.

The Bayer Leverkusen ace is currently serving a FIFA-imposed domestic and international football ban for a contract dispute with Trabzonspor from earlier in his career that will see him miss the rest of 2016/17, but Chelsea have not been deterred.

Indeed, it’s claimed they are willing to pay £33.1m for the midfielder, who is known for his free-kick prowess – which has been shown on numerous occasions with Bayer and Hamburg during his Bundesliga career.

Should Chelsea sign Hakan Calhanoglu this summer?
