Conte should unleash these 2 Chelsea hidden gems in pre-season

The tavern is absolutely ecstatic in the Blues’ corner as Antonio Conte’s Chelsea go from strength to strength in this summer transfer window as they edge closer to completing a number of deals.

Whilst supporters may agree that last season was a walk in the park for their club, the upcoming campaign will be relatively difficult in comparison as the London outfit set their sights on as much silverware as they’re capable of.

This may mean utilising more players at Stamford Bridge, or bolstering their ranks via mass additions this summer, but our landlord would hope Conte opts for the former as several footballers in the youth set-up or on the fringes have something worthy to offer.

Our Blues-mad bar man is blessing the fact that football is just on the horizon but the build-up is fully underway at the minute as clubs across the country prepare for the 2017/18 season.

Here are TWO hidden gems that Antonio Conte should unleash during his side’s pre-season schedule during July…..

Charly Musonda

Charly Musonda, son of the former Zambian midfielder, is highly-regarded at Chelsea but it’s minutes on the field which will allow the talented 20 year-old to showcase what’s in his locker.

Fans by the bar were recently discussing his future at Stamford Bridge having returned from an impressive loan move at Spanish outfit Real Betis last term, where Musounda racked up one goal and three assists in 24 matches.

It is also likely the Belgian will play a pivotal role in his country’s national squad in the near future as an exciting prospect after heavily featuring at various youth levels up to this point.

With Chelsea joining up with the hectic schedules due to Champions League football, Antonio Conte will need numbers across the entire pitch and Musounda is a suitable back-up in attack if he gets the chance to run wild in pre-season.

Ola Aina

Ola Aina is inevitably one of the most promising full-backs in the English game and could become a top-quality talent in the ranks at Stamford Bridge for years to come as the Blues prepare to dominate football in this country.

With Victor Moses the only right-defensive man out wide, Antonio Conte could very well prepare Aina for a breakthrough campaign in the first-team if he trials the hidden gem out in pre-season.

Our Chelsea-supporting punters even forgot the existence of the 20-year-old when our landlord mentioned him as he has so rarely featured in the club’s senior squad, despite scouts collecting raving reviews for the young starlet.

His international experience could be vital for him to develop and the pre-season friendlies Chelsea have lined-up could be the ideal opportunity for Ola Aina to prove why he’s worth a run of games next term.

Chelsea fans, would you agree that Conte should unleash these two in pre-season? Who else needs to be given the same chance in the coming weeks? Tell us your thoughts in the comment section below!
