Sunderland’s talented young midfielder, Jordan Henderson is being chased by Liverpool. The Mersey side outfit have already had a £13m offer rejected. The Wearside club held out for substaintal amount for Darren Bent in the January transfer window. With Aston Villa eventually signing him for £24m. Henderson, 20, is held in high regard by the Black cats. It is believed that a similarly high offer of approximately £20m will be required to soften the loss of their star man.
The England international’s ability to operate either out wide or in the middle quickly caught the attention of king Kenny at Anfield. Dalglish sees Henderson as a top target this transfer window.
A composed ball playing midfielder, regarded as one of the best young British talents around. A product of the Sunderland academy, the youngster first broke into the side in 2008. His stock has steadily risen since being handed his first full England cap, in November against France.
