There have been some stunning players to grace Ibrox, the home of Rangers FC.
The Gers themselves had a number of top stars in their sides down the years, such as Paul Gascoigne, Michael Laudrup and Claudio Caniggia, but there were some fantastic players who faced them as well. Juan Roman Riquelme and Gaizka Mendieta are just two of those names, whilst Alessandro Del Piero is another.

The Italian legend played twice against Rangers during the 1995/96 Champions League – the year Juventus actually won the title. He scored in both games, but it was his goal and performance in Glasgow that was perhaps the most impressive – it is something many Gers supporters still remember now.

The club’s official Twitter page shared an article talking about the forward as part of their “They played at Ibrox” series. This has led to many fans remembering the Juve legend’s showing, and they took to the social media platform to share their thoughts. One supporter even said that Del Piero “annihilated” Rangers that night.
