“Doesn’t feel like one of us” – Spurs fans seemingly ready to welcome summer exit

Tottenham fans are clinking together glasses of the Transfer Tavern’s famously fine ale, celebrating news that AC Milan are targeting misfit midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The north London club splashed out a staggering £30million on the Frenchman on summer deadline day, acquiring his services from Newcastle United in a somewhat unexpected last-minute deal.

Despite that equating to a club-record fee, Sissoko has struggled to find his place at White Hart Lane, making only six starts in the Premier League and managing only three 90-minute outings for Spurs all season.

And it seems the 50-cap international could already be on his way out of north London, with Mirror Football revealing he’s emerged as a transfer target for Serie A giants AC Milan, whilst a number of other clubs are said to be monitoring the situation.

Spurs patrons in the Transfer Tavern have already made their negative opinions regarding Sissoko known to our landlord and judging by recent discussions on Twitter, they’re a pretty fair representation of the general feelings of the Tottenham fan base.

Overall, it seems Spurs fans are ready to see Sissoko leave…
