Terry has won 85% of the 20 tackles he has had to make this season, while Bosignwa has won all 7 he has attempted. Lampard has also been helping out on defensive duties, winning 62% of the tackles he has attempted
With such an imperious defensive performance Chelsea fans may look to their strikers for some relief, with Anelka and Torres both getting just 50% of their shots on target
Their visitors, on the other hand, have been putting on a goal scoring masterclass this season scoring an incredible 18 goals in their first 4 games
Wayne Rooney has scored 8 of those and is the top ranked player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index with 67% of shots on target, a goal every 48 minutes 15 seconds
Rooney has been ably supported by Ashley Young, the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index’s top ranked midfielder. The winger hit a top speed of 11.43 metres per second in last weekend’s defeat of Bolton, and Bosingwa will need to be on top form to cope with him
United’s free flowing attack is demonstrated by the huge amount of ground that their forward players are covering each game. Rooney has clocked up 28.58 miles in four games, Young 25.79, and Nani 28.96.
Nani has continued his good form and hard work from last season in covering more ground than any other United player in their last three games.
