Many Everton fans are hailing the possible exit of Jordan Pickford as the Daily Star have reported that he is facing a battle to convince Carlo Ancelotti that he still has a future at the Merseyside club.
As per the outlet, the Italian manager is reportedly running out of patience with his goalkeeper, as he apparently believes that his concentration levels and consistency are just not good enough.
Should Pickford be sold by Everton in the summer?
Indeed, Pickford made a relatively high four errors leading to goals in the Premier League in the 2019/20 season and was also heavily criticised for smiling after making a howler against Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves in the top flight, with his concentration levels called into question.
Despite this, the Daily Star claimed that Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will be keeping a close eye on his situation, as he has been previously linked to Stamford Bridge as a potential replacement for 25-year old Spanish keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
These members of the Goodison Park faithful on Twitter hailed the reports about Pickford:

I’d sell him in a heartbeat. So overrated.
