Everton look to snatch experienced Arsenal international in summer window

ospinaaaOur resident Arsenal supporters are preparing for their side’s clash with Norwich City this weekend and have come across a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes which claims that David Ospina is interesting Everton.

Rumours suggest that Toffees manager Roberto Martinez is particularly keen on the Arsenal keeper and views him as a replacement for veteran stopper Tim Howard.

Howard is set to return to his home country America at the end of the season, where he will join Colorado Rapids on a free transfer.

Meanwhile 27-year-old Ospina has been behind Petr Cech in the pecking order at the Emirates this term and when he has the opportunity, he has looked unreliable.

The report claims that the Columbia international might favour staying in the Premier League, with Everton said to be keen to lure him to Goodison Park. However, our landlord has also learned that they may face competition from Turkish outfit Besiktas.

Arsenal fans, would you be happy for Ospina to leave in the summer? Let us know in the comments below!
