Spurs fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are toasting the notion of Moussa Sissoko being sold this summer.
The France international only moved to White Hart Lane at the start of the season after excelling for his country at Euro 2016 – producing a commanding performance in the tournament’s final.
But the former Newcastle midfielder has struggled to find his place in north London and remains a fringe figure in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, starting only six Premier League fixtures and contributing just two assists – alongside no goals – across all competitions.
Earlier this week, Mirror Football revealed that the 27-year-old has emerged as a potential summer target for AC Milan, whilst a number of other clubs are said to be monitoring the situation.
So we asked punters at the Tavern and online to vote for whether Pochettino should offload Sissoko to the San Siro or keep him for another season in our exclusive Twitter poll.
The gremlins trapped in the Tavern’s cellar have spent the last few days counting the ballots and the result of our poll can now be confirmed – with a staggering 86% voting for Sissoko to be moved on.
