Rangers punters in the Transfer Tavern are a little bemused, wondering who their reportedly incoming manager actually is.
According to Sky Sports, Al-Gharafa have given manager Pedro Caixinha permission to join the Ibrox outfit as their next gaffer, following Mark Warburton’s departure in February.

But to say the Portuguese is hardly a household name in England would be a bit of an understatement. His only full-time managerial posts thus far have been in Portugal, Mexico and the Middle East, and not much else is known about him.
And the lack of information on the 46-year-old has been made even worse by the below video from 2015, in which Caixinha calls Celtic his ‘brothers’ and wishes them good luck in search of the Scottish Premiership title.

So needless to say, with Caixinha seemingly now all but confirmed as Rangers’ next manager, Celtic fans are in pretty high spirits – in fact, they’re overjoyed by the news…
