Match day: Celtic - Matchday

Yet another draw? It seems that Celtic’s players don’t want to seal that ‘treble treble’ just yet. Having to now possibly wait until the penultimate game of the season before any celebrations can begin, there is no telling when the run of stalemates will end.

There certainly will be frustration around the Celtic camp this week, dropping points in their last two games really isn’t something any fan would want after waiting for the title confirmation for so long already this season.

With a visit from Kilmarnock later today, Lennon will be aware that after a below par 0-0 last weekend, there are changes that need to be made.

Here’s a couple we feel he should look to make.

Drop Olivier Ntcham

Last weekend really wasn’t the best of days for Ntcham, looking slow on and off the ball and breathed for ideas, so it may be time for the 23-year-old to have a little sit down later today.

After coming back from a knee injury not so long ago, Ntcham looked as though he would fit straight back into the Bhoys’ midfield. However, last weekend may have just proved to Lennon and fans alike that the Frenchman just isn’t ready for a full run of games and will need breaks here and there before he has another woeful performance like last week.

Start Tom Rogic

After Ntcham’s dismal performance last week, Rogic replaced him and really revitalised the Celtic midfield. Coming on and bringing tonnes of stability with him, it feels like a no brainer to start the Australian later today.

The moment Rogic, who is valued at £2.48 million (as per Transfermarkt), came on, Celtic really began to shine and push up the pitch with a bit of pace, Lennon will be hoping that a start for the 26-year-old can push his side on to a strong, dominant performance, one that he hopes will finally gift Celtic all three points.
