Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, useful attacker Jay Rodriquez has departed the south-coast in search for guaranteed first-team football by penning a contract at Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion.
The Saints fans by the bar are ecstatic that they have heavily been rumoured – by The Daily Mail – to make a swoop for Norwich City starlet Jacob Murphy, who has stunned onlookers in his first full campaign in the Canaries’ first-team.
However, Pellegrino can do a whole lot better which is why our landlord thinks the Argentine should aim to acquire differing players in the similar position of Murphy, which if he did make, he wouldn’t regret it whatsoever.

When you mention the notorious link between Southampton and Liverpool, you often consider the switch from Hampshire to Merseyside, but one player could move in the differing direction is fringe winger Lazar Markovic.
