Jones on his way, Bent injured, but hey – lets not worry we are getting Onuha – ANOTHER centre back!!!

That means we have Turner, Ferdinand, Da Silva, Mensah, Kilgallon, Bramble and Onuha to choose from at centre back, while available as strikers we have Campbell, Waghorn and errrr ……….. nobody, I hope Bruce is really, really confident about getting Wellbeck.

Otherwise it could be Campbell up front with (newly converted-England-hopeful left back) Richardson in the hole behind him and either sick-note McCartney or a centre-back at left back.

What a way to start the season.
