There hasn’t been a huge amount to shout about for the Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern over the years, though last night’s win over Hibernian certainly has the punters propping up our bar in a good mood to say the least.
While it wasn’t easy for Graeme Murty’s men, the Light Blues managed to come away from Easter Road with a valuable win and finally put their bitter rivals to the sword. Indeed, with many of Pedro Caixinha’s expensive transfers proving to be flops, Murty has had to rely on some of the younger talents in his ranks.
One of those, Ross McCorie, was handed a central midfield berth last night, albeit in a defensive role. Such has been the nature of his importance this season, the 19-year-old is already thought to be heading for contract talks about an improved deal and certainly impressed fans on social media last night.
Despite picking up a silly booking, the talented teen looked comfortable in his role and here’s a closer look at those praising him on Twitter following Rangers’ win over Hibs last night.

Who'd have thought at the start of the season Ross McCrorie Josh Windass and Greame Murty would be the heroes of the season

Huge win for Rangers. Ross McCrorie very good again. Neil Lennon says Hibs were sensational but not happy with ref Kevin Clancy for pen decision. His final word was for Graeme Murty – "He handles himself well, I'm pleased for him personally".
