Gareth Bale Pre Bolton Video Interview

The pacey Spurs winger reflects on poor recent form in the league but is excited about the opportunity to reach the FA Cup semi finals if they beat Bolton…

The Welshman has drawn some heavy criticism from Tottenham fans in recent games with his newly devised strategy to play in a ‘free role’ that has seen him drop off the left wing and roam wherever he feels he can be a danger.

This technique earned him and manager Harry Redknapp several choruses of, ‘Gareth Bale, he plays on the left’ from the travelling support at Goodison Park where Spurs were beaten by Everton.

Redknapp responded to the songs by saying that critics, ‘don’t understand the game.’  Well, perhaps the recent results have allowed fans to safely say that they do understand that a 10 point lead over Arsenal has been reduced to 1.

She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
