Rangers fans were reminiscing over a strike from former player Nacho Novo’s strike against their biggest rivals after a post by the club.
The Glasgow outfit reminded the Gers faithful about his famous strike against their old foes on the Portuguese attacker’s 41st birthday. Following hard word from Alex McLeish’s side in winning the ball back, Fernando Ricksen played a lovely pass over the top of a static defence for the Spaniard, who chipped the ball over the on-rushing ‘keeper (via Rangers FC).
One fan called the moment ‘amazing’.
Amazing. Happy birthday Nacho Man!

He enjoyed a trophy-laden time with the side, winning five major honours, including back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles. Supporters remembered his strike with fondness as they took to Twitter to react to the post.

Fell down two rows of seats that day, the wee woman who was next to me gave the biggest cuddle in the world. If memory serves me right I only got my ticket in a ballot on the bus the morning of the game. https://t.co/QoKVMkr7f3
