The Liverpool faithful are in the Transfer Tavern tonight, and it looks like nervy times ahead until the end of the transfer window for them.
Liverpool kick off their 2017/18 Premier League campaign at Vicarage Road against Watford.
A slightly kinder draw than they could have had to start the new season, Jurgen Klopp’s men will still have to be on top form to get something out of the game.
Klopp insists his side will be pushing for Premier League glory this coming season which means two things need to happen; they need a positive result on the opening day, and they might want to get a few more fresh faces in.
So far, the Reds biggest bit of business has been the signing of Mohamed Salah from Rome but as the rumour mill keeps on churning, that signing could be blown out of the water.
With that being said, here are the two deals Liverpool should really wrap up before their opening game against Watford.
Naby Keita

Jurgen Klopp has made RB Leipzig midfielder, Naby Keita his number one target this summer but appears to be struggling to get a deal done.
The central midfielder bagged eight goals and seven assists in the league last season as his side finished second behind Bayern Munich.
Klopp isn’t usually one to break the bank to get a player so he would be forgiven for doing it just this once with Keita.
His work rate would be a fantastic addition to Liverpool’s midfield.
Virgil van Dijk

Another player who has seemingly been linked with Liverpool all window long.
Virgil van Dijk has made it clear that he wants to join the Reds and it is unlikely that Mauricio Pellegrino will want to keep an unhappy player around.
The £60 million price tag is far too much to pay but Liverpool are in need of a more solid back line next season and Van Dijk could be their only choice.
