Borna Barisic has provided a huge transfer boost to Glasgow Rangers by saying he is committed to the club as they go in search of the Premiership title this season.
The Croatia international was in fantastic form for the Gers last season, racking up 14 assists in all competitions, and he has carried on where he left off this time around as well as he already has one goal and two assists to his name. That has attracted the interest of the likes of Leeds United, with the Ibrox outfit said to be wanting at least £8m for his services.

However, Barisic has said he focused on the 54-time Scottish champions and is not thinking of a move at the moment. He said:
“I don’t want to talk about transfers, or things like that. The most important thing is where I am now, and that is Rangers.
“We know how big this season is for us.
“I don’t want to think about transfers because when you think about things like that, it is normal that you then lose your focus.
“We have started very well, and that is the most important thing.”
This is good news for the Gers – they cannot afford to lose Barisic. His creative influence from left-back was important last term, and has already proven to be a big weapon this season as well – even for £8m+, they cannot afford to let him go.

For now, at least, it looks as if he is not letting the speculation distract him.
