Frank McAvennie has said he expects Alfredo Morelos to leave Glasgow Rangers this summer.
There has been plenty of talk linking Morelos with a move away from Ibrox this summer, with Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund previously mentioned – now, it is Everton who are said to be focused on taking him to Goodison Park. It has even been said that the Gers expect him to leave before next season as well.

Speaking to Football Insider, McAvennie also believes he will be out of the door in the transfer window, saying:
“I think he will move. But Stevie Gerrard and Gary Mac are good pros and they will not let him go for the sake of it.
“He is a very good player and they would want him in the team.
“Morelos is a great player but his temperament is what lets him down. I do not think he would get away with that in England.”
It is becoming increasingly unlikely that the Gers will keep hold of Morelos next summer – the Gers fans have already noticed his lack of presence in regards to their new kit launch, and given he has managed 77 goals in 137 games for the 54-time Scottish champions since he signed for £1.08m in 2017, it is no surprise that there is plenty of interest in his services.

If he does leave, the most important thing is that the Ibrox outfit receive a considerable fee for him. Otherwise, they will be getting nothing out of the deal.
