Glasgow Rangers have recently changed their kit manufacturer.
Up until this current campaign, their shirts were made by Hummel, but they are old news – it is now Castore who have entered into a partnership with the Gers. The new deal will last five years, with the Ibrox outfit potentially able to make as much as £25m from the contract.

The club’s training kits for the new season have now been revealed, with the Gers supporters eager to share their thoughts. After that reveal, the Gers’ official Twitter account decided to share a photo of the kit with James Tavernier’s initials on them, with the caption: “Ready for the Captain”.

This has not gone down well at all with the Gers supporters – 28-year-old Tavernier’s performances have left a lot to be desired in recent months, and as such he does not appear to be the most popular figure. As a result, the fans took to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.

Don’t ever want to see Tavernier in a rangers shirt ever again. You he’s to get the captains shirt reprinted. Regardless of opinions, the majority of our support want Ryan jack leading us out not this fraud.
