The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their amazing January signing, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has scored or assisted a goal for every 75.57 minutes he’s played this season. The forward came in from Borussia Dortmund and has linked up well with Alexandre Lacazette and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in his five months since signing for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Arsene Wenger has done everything in his power to ensure that his replacement has enough in place to succeed in North London and the signing of Aubameyang is certainly in line with that. Since the Gabonese international made the move from the Westfalenstadion to The Emirates he’s scored 10 goals and registered a further four assists in his 13 Premier League appearances for the Gunners this season.
At the age of 28, the striker joined the club whilst playing the best football of his career in his prime years and across the whole season for two clubs the striker has bagged an incredible 31 goals in 38 appearances, having scored 21 goals for Borussia Dortmund before making the move to London in January. Aubameyang has been just one of a number of high profile strikers who’s moved to the Premier League this season, following in the paths of Alvaro Morata, Alexandre Lacazette, Mohamed Salah and Cenk Tosun.
