Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side can bounce back from defeat with a vital win over Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Two losses in their last four Premier League outings has reduced Chelsea’s lead at the division’s summit to just four points – including a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United last weekend.
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois sat out the visit to Old Trafford after picking up an injury in a basketball promotion shoot and in his absence, the Blues conceded twice for just the second time since the turn of the year.
Fortunately, however, the Belgium international should be available for selection when Chelsea travel to Wembley on Saturday to take on bitter London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final.
Manager Antonio Conte suggested as much on Friday, revealing in his press conference that Courtois has recovered from his injury and has been training this week.
