It wasn’t always the most entertaining summer for the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern, though they’ve ended it in a rather happy mood.
Indeed, with their club record broken to sign Davison Sanchez, Kyle Walker replaced in the shape of Serge Aurier and a back-up forward brought in through Fernando Llorente, things are looking up.
Though Spurs aren’t spending as much as their title rivals, the local Lillywhites in our bar are absolutely delighted about the complexion of their squad right now.
Dan Levy is a divisive figure in football, though the darling of north London as things stand. Having brought in big money for Walker, Tottenham have been able to strengthen their central striking berths, much to the delight of the supporters in here tonight.
