As if his England performance was not enough for our punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern to digest, Harry Kane was even made Tottenham Hotspur skipper for the day as the Lilywhites visited Burnley.
The forward has been sensational this season and has broken the internet on more than one occasion with his goal scoring antics and we have to admit, we are big fans of the player – but making him captain for the day seems a bit much, even to us!
One of our regulars jokes that it could even be a way to try and convince him he has a long term future in north London, because if he has another season like this, the big boys will be knocking!
