Harry Redknapp was in a resigned mood to the loss against Queens Park Rangers. He didn’t believe the Adel Taarabt goal was anything to talk about and lamented the fact that Spurs only had the ‘tiny’ figure of Jermain Defoe upfront.
Louis Saha had apparently failed an early morning fitness test on Saturday and Emmanuel Adebayor had a ‘slight’ hamstring that it was believed, would be alright for their next match.
Redknapp felt that Spurs lacked ‘luck’ and simply didn’t get the break they so desperately needed.
When asked about the run of form, he responded that only the game against Norwich had been a poor performance and his side hadn’t in his opinion been playing badly.
In respect of achieving a fourth place finish Redknapp was in seemingly bullish mood. He maintains that there still all to play for and the run in didn’t favour rivals and he expected to win his last four games of the season.
For a man in charge of a team looking like it has imploded, he didn’t appear rattled.
