Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern didn’t really need any extra reason to smile at the moment but it appears that they have been given two.
The Blues have been top of the league for some time this season and whilst the rest have fallen away they have remained on rails as they close in on the title.
Indeed, they’ll be looking to complete a domestic double this season with an FA Cup win before they try to crack the Champions League next season.
You get the feeling that they will be serious contenders now, too, with Eden Hazard and John Terry set to sign new deals before too long – as per Talksport.
