“He’d do great”- Arsenal fans react to rumours linking club with Ligue 1 hotshot

It’s been tough for the Arsenal fans lining the bar here in the Tavern this season, who saw their team narrowly miss out on Champions League football after they finished fifth in the Premier League.

There’s been plenty of though amongst the fans here in the pub that a change in management was needed at the helm but instead, Wenger has signed a new deal with the club and they’re back to square one.

And this is set to be one of the biggest summers of Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal career moving forward, with the jury still out on whether he’s good enough to take the team forward.

The man in question? Alexandre Lacazette, who has been linked with a move to the club this week.

The Lyon hotshot has been in red-hot form in Ligue 1 for years now and finally, we could see the French international make the high profile switch to England, with both Manchester United and Arsenal thought to be interested in a move.

He’s the sort of player that might get the Arsenal supporters behind their under-fire manager once again and as you can imagine, there’s plenty of fans that are excited about a potential deal.
