Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been hilariously responding to an odd analogy used by Arsene Wenger after the clubs 2-1 loss to Brighton made it four losses in four games for the out of form gunners.

Everyone associated with Arsenal Football Club at the moment seems to agree that the club needs to part ways with the legendary Frenchman if they’re to continue moving forward as a club. This season marks the first that Arsenal have been missing from the Champions League under Wenger after so many straight years in the competition. In a space of just 11 days Arsenal fans have watched on as their club has lost 2-1 to Ostersunds in the Europa League, 3-0 to Manchester City in the League Cup final and again in the Premier League and then 2-1 away at Brighton in the league yesterday.

68-year-old Wenger has defiantly stood his ground, stating that he believes he is still the man to take the club forward, citing that he has done it before and will be able to do it again. However, with the club sitting a massive 33 points off of leaders Manchester City and 13 points off of arch rivals and Tottenham Hotspur in 4th, it’s hard to see a way out for Arsene Wenger that doesn’t involve him calling time on his Arsenal days.
