‘I Believe The Deal Will Go Through’

Zaire’s Finest, the Weekend Post Online is running with the news that Bafana Bafana star defender Bongani Khumalo is expected to join Spurs in the forthcoming January transfer window.

Khumalo’s business manager Glyn Binkin confirmed that the 23-year-old central defender, who shone for Bafana in the Word Cup, that a deal would be concluded with Spurs  as soon as the end of business yesterday.

“The deal is on going at present. The plan is for Khumalo to play as many matches this year for Bafana as possible and get more caps and join Spurs in January,” Binkin said.

“He impressed Spurs when he went to London for a short trial last week and the club was keen to sign him. I believe the deal will go through in January.”

Khumalo said he was excited about the prospect of playing in the most competitive league in the world.

“I enjoyed my trial with Spurs and all I can say is that at this stage the deal is pending and an announcement will be made later.”

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
