For the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern, it’s likely to be a rather big summer of activity indeed.
With the likes of James Rodriguez and Antoine Griezmann strongly linked with moves to Old Trafford, the resident Red Devils propping up the bar have been waxing poetic about their chances for glory next season.
Indeed, those chances have been handed a major boost today following recent reports in regards to one of United’s biggest stars. According to ESPN, the Premier League titans are confident in their chances of keeping David De Gea at the club this summer, despite links with a move to Real Madrid.
United know better than anyone just how hard it is to replace a top class stopper, having taken six years to properly replace Peter Schmeichel, so the fact they look like keeping De Gea in Manchester has gone down a storm amongst our drinkers.
