With Arsenal recently securing a deal for Alexandre Lacazette, the Gunners in the Transfer Tavern are wondering who else Arsene Wenger will recruit…
That may all depend on the Arsenal departures this summer.
Despite Arsene Wenger stresses to keep him, right-back Hector Bellerin has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona – and we usually know what happens next.
Arsenal will be looking at ready made replacements for the Spaniard just in case he leaves this summer, and given the quality available in Europe at present, Wenger will likely have no shortage of options.
Down at the Transfer Tavern, we’ve come with TWO right-backs who could each fill the hole, should Bellerin leave…
Nelson Semedo

Valued at around £17m, Nelson Semedo could be an ideal like-for-like replacement for Bellerin after catching the eye at Benfica last season.
Bringing an excellent balance of defence and attack, he has emerged as one of Europe’s best in recent years, and he would certainly be a good replacement for Bellerin.
At 23-years-old, he also has age on his side.
Cedric Soares

The Southampton full-back enjoyed a successful second season in the Premier League, emerging as one of the best in England whilst impressing for the Saints.
His form will likely attract suitors, so the Gunners would do well to join the race for the Portugal international’s signature.
A move will not be easy to come by, given Southampton’s eagerness to retain their key players, but he is a player that would be worth the fight.
