The Celtic fans are here at the Transfer Tavern and whether it’s the drink or the unbeaten season, they feel invincible.
Winning 34 and drawing just four of their 38 league games last season, Celtic’s achievement of going unbeaten for an entire season has been somewhat dismissed over the fact that it happened in the Scottish League.
Whilst the level of competition may not be as high as the Premier League, going undefeated all season long is still something to celebrate, and something even harder to replicate.
It will be difficult of course but they are a good side who, it could be argued, have outgrown the league they’re in.
Overall, Celtic have quite a strong side and with a few adjustments here and there or even making sure the squad depth is good enough, there’s no reason why they couldn’t go undefeated again.
On that note, our landlord has identified THREE potential signings that could help Celtic go undefeated again next season….
Ante Coric

A complete unknown to most, Ante Coric is a young, technically gifted attacker from Croatia which at this point just seems to be a given that they’ll have one or two every few years.
Our landlord seems to think that Coric is looking for a move away from his current club Dinamo Zagreb.
Instead of making the leap straight to one of Europe’s elite clubs, he could use Celtic as a stepping stone to go onto greater things later in his career.
He’s only 20 but he’s a very talented 20-year-old and would get the first team football at Celtic that he needs to aid his development even further.
Tomas Kalas

It doesn’t seem like Tomas Kalas is ever going to establish himself at Chelsea.
Despite that fact he is a very competent centre back who is versatile enough to play right back on occasions too.
Featuring in 36 league games for Fulham last season and only missing eight of the ten he didn’t play due to injury, Kalas became a key player for Fulham last season in their push for promotion.
A move to the undefeated Scottish Champions would surely be favoured by the player and if he did make the move, he could help them go unbeaten again.
Charly Musonda

Another Chelsea youngster on the books whilst spending all his time out on loan, Charly Musonda has actually been linked with a move to Celtic.
Although this move now seems unlikely after Musonda’s brother spoke out claiming Charly is “a Chelsea player and focused on Chelsea”.
Whether that proves to be true, Musonda recently returned from playing 24 times for Real Betis whilst on loan there and will now have the taste for first team football.
Celtic could provide it, and Musonda could provide Brendan Rodgers with another unbeaten season.
