Burnley have once again had a difficult start to the Premier League season, having secured a mere seven points from eight games.

Sean Dyche’s side looked have looked extremely promising at times, especially during their 2-0 victory over in-form Liverpool in early August, however they have since failed to kick-on from there and their only win since came against Watford in another 2-0 victory.

A defeat to Accrington Stanley in the EFL Cup was perhaps the low point, as the Clarets crashed out of the competition in humiliating style in only the second round in a competition the club would have been hoping they could potentially do well in.

Having suffered yo-yo style relegations from the Premier League in the past decade, the Burnley faithful will be desperate for their club to maintain their top flight status for more than one season, however if results keep going they way they are, that is looking unfortunately unlikely.

If that is to be the case, Sean Dyche’s job could indeed be in danger as Burnley will be desperate to do all they can to survive. Could these three be the man to replace him and keep Burnley from the drop? Our landlord thinks so….

Ryan Giggs seems destined to find his first senior managerial job sooner rather than later, and Burnley could be the club to give him that opportunity if Sean Dyche were indeed to leave the club.

His experience at Manchester United should put him in good stead, however will it be enough to keep a struggling side afloat?
