The fiery flames of the north London need little fanning, especially after a few pints in the Transfer Tavern on a Friday night.
Clearly, the gulf in class between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal is closing now the former are under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino.
Still, the Gunners propping up the bar have had a smug sense of self ever since Pochettino’s side crumbled after missing out on the title last term.
Arsene Wenger managed to pip the Argentine to second place in the Premier Leauge and the infamous St. Totteringham’s Day quickly ensued.
In fact, as a tweet recently proved, Arsenal have always had the edge over their not-so-friendly neighbors.
The Gunners are the ONLY side to have never finished below Tottenham in the Premier League era, much to the chagrin of the White Hart Lane frequenters in the Tavern.
Arsenal are the only team Tottenham have not finished above in the league since Arsene Wenger joined the club in 1996.

Spurs currently sit above their rivals by a point, lying in second behind Manchester City.
Who will finish higher this season, Arsenal or Tottenham?
