It seems the Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern have a new hero to shout about.
Indeed, the Blues in our bar are STILL talking about the performance of home debutant, Davide Zappacosta.
Not all too much was known about the Italian upon his initial arrival from Torino over the course of the summer, though he played well in the 6-0 thumping of Qarabag last night, notching a stunning goal.
Whether or not he meant it is up for debate, though many Chelsea fans are starting to believe the summer signing could push the popular Victor Moses out of the starting XI. The latter hugely impressed as a right-wing back last season, though that was one area of the squad that looked rather thin.
However, Zappacosta’s performance has had supporters online predicting trouble ahead for Moses, despite his heroics last season.
