Swansea Fans in the Transfer Tavern are still delighted at their great escape, yet recognise the need for more additions.
Paul Clement completed the nigh-on impossible task of achieving survival with a Swansea side that was languishing in bottom place when he arrived.
The attention has since diverted to the summer transfer window, ensuring that Swansea can manage to escape relegation with a sense of comfort.
To certify that this ambition is achieved, they must keep star players Fernando Llorente and Gylfi Sigurdsson at the club while also looking bolster Clement’s options.
The Swans are believed to be on the verge of completing a loan move for Tammy Abraham and are now being linked with a transfer for Las Palmas’ holding midfielder Roque Mesa.
According to the BBC, Swansea are close to completing the £10m transfer of the 28-year-old.
Mesa has been with Las Palmas since 2011 and is renowned for his passing and dribbling abilities. Swansea chairman, Huw Jenkins had already outlined his desire to sign a midfielder this window, and it appears that his ambition is about to be realised.
